Jeffrey Christmas

Jeff Christmas began teaching at Bowdoin in Fall of 2015. In addition to directing the chamber choir, Jeff has taught Art of Singing, Creating Music in the Digital Age, Performance of Music, our entire music theory sequence and voice lessons (both classical and pop/jazz). A conductor and multi-instrumentalist, Jeff’s teaching and performing draws from a variety of experiences in a variety of genres and traditions. Jeff moved to Maine in Fall of 2015 with his partner and two children. In addition to the work he does at Bowdoin he is also on the faculty at 317 Main Community Music Center in Yarmouth.
